Great Performance, great price.
I use this motor on the CUB. It flies quite fast and quite nice on 2 cell, 9050. For 14-18oz thrust, this motor provides good speed (approx 30-38mph). A BIt more thrust and speed than the GWS 2205, but a the cost of more amps.
Notice the super strong alumuinum mounting! I typically mount a 1inch by 1inch piece of light ply to the motor via provided screws, then hotglue or epoxy to the airframe. Very easy.

Note: Be sure to lock-tite the set screw in the base...after 3 flights, they will vibrate loose and cause problems otherwise.

BM2410-12
Best all around performance for price!
Amazing performance. I have a 15 oz all up weight P38 with TWIN 2410-12 motors installed.
Radar gun says 67mph from a 300'dive, 55mph straignt and level. Vertical take offs!
That's fast for a park flyer? It has unlimited vertical given its 40oz combined thrust on a 15oz frame.
Notice the super strong alumuinum mounting! I typically mount a 1inch by 1inch piece of light ply to the motor via provided screws, then hotglue or epoxy to the airframe. Very easy.

EMax 2212 Brushless Motor
A Really fast parkflyer motor. 60mph on 3cells.
7x5 APC prop, 3 cells = 59mph, 20oz thrust! Very nice 150watt motor indeed!
Very fast, well made, and inexpensive motor. The2212 turns smaller props faster than its brother theCF2822
This motor requires a prop adapter of some sort, either 3mm prop saver or 3mm prop adapter. (no threaded shaft)

EMax 2822 Brushless Motor
It is the very high power delivered by these small and very robust, but light weight (39g) brushless motors with rotating case suitable for all models of 300-400 size . The 2822 turns LARGER props for more THRUST than its brother theCF2212
This motor requires a prop adapter of some sort, either 3mm prop saver or 3mm prop adapter. (no threaded shaft)

GWS 2205:
We have the newest GWS entry into the brushless market!
Using a GWS HD 7x3.5 and 2cells, these motors are tame, providing 11oz thrust. Speed? you can expect about 35mph.
But, they draw only 7.6 amps making them ideal for light weight twin engined planes.
However, jump up to the 8x4.3, and thrust jumps up 150% (almost 15oz.). Also, these are really, really light weight motors.
| Prop | Volts | Amps | Thrust |
| 7x3.5 | 2cell | 7.6 | 313g (11.04oz) |
| 8x4.3 | 2cell | 13 | 424g (14.95oz) |
